KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 (Bernama) -- The Royal Malaysian Customs (KDRM) sealed 497 luxury cars worth a total of RM27.842 million which were smuggled into the country as of September this year, said Finance Ministry Parliamentary Secretary Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya.

He said the cars were brought into the country witout paying tax totalling RM35.892 million.

"The highest number of cases was in Selangor with a total of 102 cars worth RM7.453 million being sealed, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 90 cars worth RM5.598 million and Johor with 82 cars worth RM6.253 million," he told reporters at the Parliament …
