Oct. 12--BOLIVIA, N.C. -- The Brunswick County Health Department received 1,200 flu shots Monday after running out of the vaccine last week, but only about 300 shots remained at the end of the day.
Monday's shipment was the last scheduled shipment for the county. Last week, the county administered its first shipment of 1,400 shots.
The department had estimated it would need about 6,000 shots to supply Brunswick County's needs this year.
