The Grand Am replacement arrives on the same midsize front-drive chassis that underpins the Chevrolet Malibu and Saab 9-3. The new G6 gets a 3.5-liter, 200-hp, 220-lb-ft V6 and a four-speed automatic transmission equipped with a manual shift mode.
