Profitability of Uganda's fish on the European market is five percent lower compared with regional neighbours owing to high transport costs.

Exporters have singled out high cargo charges, high fuel costs, limited number of cargo and passenger airlines offering cargo space at Entebbe International Airport as some of the factors that limit the growth of their business.
