Mainland Import enters P.R. clothing arena. (Puerto Rico) (Small Business)
Mainland Import, a firm that operates as exclusive representative for clothing and accessory lines, will begin doing business in Puerto Rico in June. Initially, the company will represent six lines ranging from bridal gowns to children's accessories. The company's short-term plans include rapid expansion of its portfolio and to become the representative of five additional lines.
Among the names that Mainland Import will be representing in Puerto Rico are First Lady Bridals, Escante, Empire Intimates, and Jake & Sons, most of which are new labels.
