Feb. 4--Pakorn Thavisin will tomorrow hand in his resignation as DBS Thai Danu Bank's chairman, effective on March 1.
Informed sources said Mr Pakorn had decided to leave the bank, of which his family was once a major shareholder, for "personal reasons".
The sources did not elaborate on his reasons.
Some Thai executives of the bank are said to be unhappy at the treatment of the bank by the Development Bank of Singapore, the bank's major shareholder.
