Feb. 2--Television broadcaster iTV Plc expects to receive at least 1.5 billion baht from its initial public offering of shares, with funds raised paying for expansion.

The company will offer 320 million shares with a par value of five baht from Feb 27 to March 1.

Retail investors will be offered 20 percent, or 65 million shares, through commercial banks and online systems.

Niwat Boonsong, a director at iTV, said the shares would be allocated at random, with reservations closed after the order book reached 130 million shares, or twice the number offered to retail investors.
