Feb. 2--A Finance Ministry proposal to reduce hiring of foreign consultants on state projects is being reviewed, amid concern that foreign investors might claim unfair treatment.
Under the proposal, Thai consultants would represent up to 70 percent of each contract in terms of both the number and project duration, instead of 50 percent required by the existing regulation.
