Feb. 6--Government Savings Bank officials take heed -- you could be hit at any time by a bag of something very nasty.

Dozens of villagers rallied at the Finance Ministry yesterday to protest against the refusal by the state to refund losses incurred on investments in mutual funds sold through the GSB.

Chuay Kotchasit, 65, an investor who last year made headlines by smearing himself with human excrement and walking into a GSB branch in Kanchanaburi, yesterday threatened "final measures" if redress was not made.

Mr Chuay said that the GSB had to return nearly 600,000 baht or face the consequences, and raised ...
