The Dow transports are riding at their highest levels since 1999. We`ll find out why and what this may mean for the overall market.
And housing prices are up across the nation, but not all regions are the same. We`ll look at both ends of the price spectrum.
ALI VELSHI, CNNfn ANCHOR, THE MONEY GANG: You have to figure. Welcome to THE MONEY GANG by the way. I love it when I start in the middle of a thought. I`m Ali Velshi.
MULLANY: And I`m Darby Mullany. Thanks for joining us everybody.
VELSHI: You`ve got to figure with all of us worrying about oil, oil got up past 53 bucks a barrel today. The truckers, more stuff moves across this country by truck than you would think.
MULLANY: Many of those truckers use diesel fuel, and diesel fuel prices rising as well of course.
VELSHI: Sure.
MULLANY: Fred Katayama is going to be here later, talking about the impact on some of the big independent trucking companies of these rising fuel companies.
VELSHI: And there are many of these independent trucking companies and it`s been very hard for them to make a go of it, because now we do this less than truck load, you know, people with smaller shipments in order to get stuff out there because there is this just in time inventory. That`s something that should interest the rest of the gang.
