Mar. 2--The Consumer Price Index in February rose by 0.3 percent year-on-year due to an increase in the non-food sector of 0.5 percent, while food sector prices rose 0.3 percent, according to the Internal Trade Department.
The inflation rate last month was 103.4, up from 103.3 in January. The country's CPI uses 1998 as a base year, equal to 100.
Monthly inflation in February rose by 0.1 percent from the month before and the index for the first two months was up by 0.5 percent from the same period last year.
