NAGOYA -- The operator of a long-term parking lot near Nagoya Airport has earned the dubious honor of becoming Japan's first arrest for embezzlement through the misuse of an automobile, police said Wednesday.

Arrested was 59-year-old Katsuhiko Kondo of Toyoyama, Aichi Prefecture.

He admits to the allegations against him, according to wire reports.
