Mar. 4--One of the largest fraud cases in recent history is drawing to a close after the Central Bankruptcy Court recently ordered the foreclosure of Bliss Share Group Co and nine company executives implicated in a time-sharing fraud.
The court, which handed down the ruling last month, also ordered cash, properties and other assets worth 163 million baht frozen. A separate criminal case against five people is still in progress.
The Bliss Share case is estimated to have 20,004 victims, with total losses from fraud of around 726 million baht. A number of the victims represent farmers who were deceived into paying ...
