Apr. 5--A group of key executives of Seagram (Thailand) Co, led by Thirawit Leetavorn, is defecting to Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi's liquor business empire.
Mr Thirawit has resigned as general manager of Seagram Thailand, the distributor of Chivas Regal, 100 Pipers and Master Blend whisky brands, to join Mr Charoen's camp, effective April 30.
At least 10 senior managers of Seagram were likely to follow Mr Thirawit to Mr Charoen's group, according to a Seagram insider.
