Apr. 5--Fast-food chain McDonald's has launched its first product made of Thai rice.

The Sticky Rice Roast Pork Burger complements the Thai Spicy McSalad Shaker, or McSomtam Shaker, introduced two weeks ago.

The new burger was launched after market tests at 10 outlets, said Kaweemat Jeam-On, the marketing manager of McThai Co, the local franchisee of the United- States-based operator.

"The result was very positive and we are sure it will be as successful as the spicy salad."
