Apr. 4--The Thai Asset Management Corporation (TAMC) met its target of restructuring loans totalling 102.1 billion baht in the first quarter, according to managing director Lt Yodchai Chusri.
The amount is a sharp jump from 50.13 billion baht restructured as of March 11.
Of the 177 loans restructured in the quarter, 44.71 billion baht involved 110 single creditors and 55.50 billion baht involved 67 multi-creditor loans, he said.
Of the deals completed by the TAMC, 101 involved debt restructuring, 33 were resolved through business rehabilitation, 35 were foreclosures ordered by the Central Bankruptcy Court, ...
