Apr. 3--M Link Asia, a mobile handset distributor headed by a sister of Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, is adjusting its marketing strategy following the recent unlocking of the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) codes by Total Access Communications (DTAC).
The adjustment came on the eve of M Link's debut on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The company recently sold 14 million shares at 21 baht each, with trading to start today.
