Apr. 3--Top executives have selected the companies they believe were the best performers last year in the country's first corporate excellence survey.

Siam Cement, Thai Farmers Bank and Advanced Info Service are among the top contenders.

The results of the Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards 2001 will be announced next Wednesday at a ceremony presided over by Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak.
