Apr. 2--The Thailand Opportunity Fund has invested a total of nearly one billion baht in 10 listed companies since being established in late February, according to Vichate Tantiwanich, managing director of Krung Thai Asset Management.
KTAM is managing the opportunity fund, with the Government Pension Fund serving as an adviser.
The fund has received nearly eight billion baht in commitments from the GPF, Krung Thai Bank and the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and is expected to grow to 10 billion baht from contributions from other Thai companies and institutional investors.
