Apr. 2--Thai Farmers Bank aims to lend 15 billion baht to retail customers this year by offering new services targeting specific groups and remodelling its branches to suit their demands.
Thongchai Charoensithi, the bank's first executive vice-president, said the bank classified its clients by income level into five groups: mass market averaging 15,000 baht a month; middle-income of 15,000 to 100,000 baht; affluent with more than 100,000 baht; business owners or operators with monthly revenue of 1-50 million baht; and small enterprises with monthly revenue of at least 50 million baht.
