May 6--Producers who use local raw materials to make goods for export will be eligible for state help.
This would take the form of low-interest loans, technical assistance, research and development in making added-value products, and access to marketing assistance through state agencies and private institutes, said Pansak Winyarat, the chairman of the prime minister's economic advisory team.
The support will target wooden products, paper, cosmetics made from herbs, flowers, rubber, ceramics and textiles.
