May 3--The Government Housing Bank has extended the period for Government Pension Fund members to apply for home loans until the end of May.

Members whose loans are approved will need to complete all legal documentation with the bank by July 31. They will be entitled to a lending rate of 4.5 percent per year for the first three years, after which the rate will be equal to Krung Thai Bank's 36-month deposit rate plus 75 basis points. The repayment period is up to 30 years.
