Specialty Store Set to Strengthen Sole Outlet in Thailand.

Jun. 5--The local franchisee of Japan's Loft specialty store has suspended plans to open a second outlet in Bangkok, citing economic uncertainty and difficulty finding an ideal location.
Instead, the firm will focus on strengthening its only store at Siam Discovery Centre, which has a total space of 1,200 square metres and sells creatively designed imported products.
The firm plans to increase its imported products to 70 percent of its turnover next year from 60 percent this year and 50 percent last year with an aim to differentiate itself from its rivals.
