Jun. 4--Restaurants showing World Cup matches live on big-screen projectors report mixed success in attracting fans and diners over the first four days of the tournament.
The Radisson Hotel, which has been heavily promoting major sports events, particularly the World Cup, reported a 50 percent to 60 percent increase in turnover at its Blackie Sports Pub since the first match on Friday.
Ampaipan Napasakulkroo, the public relations manager, said an improved service was one reason.
