Thai Agency to Spell Out Rules on Transfer Pricing.

Jun. 1--The Revenue Department will explain the guidelines on transfer pricing to about 2,000 local companies and multinationals next month.
Transfer prices are charged by individual entities in a group of related corporations on transactions among themselves. The prices often differ from those that would be charged by unrelated parties. In general, the transfer price is often considered to be a means of avoiding tax.
Many multinationals operating in Thailand used transfer pricing, said Suparat Khawatkul, the department's director-general.
