2004 OCT 7 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- The Gynecologic Cancer Foundation (GCF) released the "State of the State of Gynecologic Cancers - Second Annual Report to the Women of America."
The report details the most recent advances in the detection and treatment of gynecologic cancers, which affect more than 80,000 women in the U.S. each year, according to the American Cancer Society.
The report also contains information about symptoms, risk factors, screening/prevention methods and incidence figures for gynecologic cancers. It was written by a team of physicians who are members of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and specialize in treating women's cancers.
