The header for this column has always been "Skeptimania," meaning that your writer is inclined to be suspicious about a lot of things relating to audio, particularly when it comes to hyperbolic high-end audio claims and products. Unfortunately, for the past few months the column really has not been much more than a traditional audio-commentator enterprise. Consequently, it is time to get a bit skeptical again, and I want to do this by ranting about a handful of old and new audio misconceptions.
