PRAGUE, Oct 5 (CTK) - Horni Benesov, north Moravia, would like to offer U.S. Senator and Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry honorary citizenship and has invited him to the Czech Republic, Horni Benesov Mayor Josef Klech announced in Prague today.
Kerry's ancestors hail from the small town, which is close to the city of Bruntal. "We want to say that where someone comes from does effect what they can achieve," Klech said.
