Jul. 2--FIVE SEEKING TOP POST AT EGAT: Five candidates, four of them senior executives of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (Egat), are contending for the governorship of the state power utility.
The successful candidate will succeed Vitaya Kotcharak, who will retire on Sept 30.
The applicants are Chalermchai Ratanarat, Krasri Kanasutra, M.L. Chanaphun Kridakorn and Sithiporn Ratanopas -- all from Egat -- and Sakachat Kanorakul, managing director of Apiporn Consultant.
