Jul. 1--Thailand hopes to export hygienic pork to Singapore soon, after inspectors from the potential market gave positive reports on pig farms and processing plants, according to Boonpeng Santiwattanatham, a veterinarian and president of the Swine Processing Export Association.

Singapore and Malaysia would be new markets for Thai pork, joining major buyers Hong Kong and Japan.
