Aug. 5--The government will lead a group of traders to visit North Korea late this month to seek more bilateral trade and boost account trade between the two countries.

Commerce Minister Adisai Bodharamik said the government would work with traders to find out which products could be exchanged through account trade to reduce North Korea's US$123 million debt to Thailand.

North Korea made its first payment of US$6.5 million for rice recently and prefers to pay the balance in non-cash form.
