Aug. 2--Uncertainty in the global equities markets has affected the debut of two new stocks on the Market for Alternative Investment over the past week, leading investment bankers to say that future new listings could be delayed until market volatility eases.

Shun Thai Rubber Gloves Industry opened yesterday at 1.60 baht per share and reached a low of 1.56 compared with the initial public offering price of 1.80 baht. The stock ultimately closed at 1.84 baht on trade worth 247.7 million baht.

The restaurant chain Daidomon, which entered the MAI on Tuesday, yesterday closed at 16.20 baht in trade worth 46.8 million ...
