Aug. 1--The Communications Authority of Thailand expects to finish screening the technical proposals submitted by four bidders for its 15-billion-baht CDMA mobile phone project this week.
By Monday, the CAT should be ready to invite those who passed the screening to import equipment for trials, according to a bid committee source.
"We have placed strict emphasis on the connection equipment that would need to be linked with the CDMA mobile network already in place in Bangkok and 22 central provinces," he said.
