Aug. 1--Recognising the region's growing demand for luxury products and an improving economy, France's LVMH Fashion Group says it will focus its new investment over the next three to five years in the Asia-Pacific region.
The company yesterday opened a large Louis Vuitton store in Bangkok's central business district and planned a similar-scale boutique in China in the near future, said Hugues Witvoet, president of LVMH Fashion for Asia-Pacific.
