Sep. 3--Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Plc (TCR) has praised Washington's reversal of a plan to impose anti-dumping duties on selected steel imports from Thailand, calling the decision "fair and universal" and saying it would encourage free-trade practices.
With the final US International Trade Commission ruling, steelmakers from five countries -- Japan, Australia, India, Sweden and Thailand -- will avoid any anti-dumping duties, based on the premise that they were not hurting the US steel industry.
