Sep. 3--Steel-framed houses are likely to gain acceptance by home-buyers over the next three years, according to industry executives.
The houses would be mass produced to a set quality standard, giving the building industry a boost, said Wikrom Vajragupta, the director of the Iron and Steel Institute of Thailand.
The steel structures are now used locally in large and high-rise buildings, warehouses and factories, not detached houses.
