Oct. 4--Krungthai Card Plc, the credit-card service arm of Krung Thai Bank, will float 51 million shares with a par value of 10 baht each in an initial public offering later this month.

The IPO will reduce the bank's stake in Krungthai Card (KTC) to 49 percent, according to Chutidej Chayuti, a KTC senior vice-president.

Some 10 percent of the IPO shares will be placed via online subscription through Settrade.com, a subsidiary of the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Subscribers can make payment through electronic banking services of Siam Commercial Bank, Krung Thai Bank and Bank of Asia.
