Oct. 3--Products made as part of the One Tambon, One Product project will soon be among duty-free goods to be offered for sale on flights by Thai Airways International (THAI) and ten other airlines.
Travel Corporation Co of Japan, whose bid won the contract to sell duty-free goods on THAI's international services, will also introduce the products on flights by Japan Airlines, Northwest Airlines and Cathay Pacific, among others.
Products selected from the One Tambon, One Product project had to be "cute and meet international standards", said Itsushi Kamiyama, the managing director of Travel Corp.
