Oct. 3--Siam Sanitary Fittings Co, a manufacturer of integrated sanitaryware under the Cotto and Toto brands, will use more locally-made parts.
Anucha Chamni, head of procurement, said this would help the company reduce its production costs.
"We will use more locally-made parts and avoid using imported ones to help the country's trade balance, create jobs and support local manufacturing."
At present, the company uses 80 percent local content and 20 percent imported parts and raw materials costing more than 50 million baht a year.
