Oct. 3--The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives plans to raise five billion baht through its seventh Taweesin savings programme next month, bank president Pittayapol Nattaradol said yesterday.
As in previous Taweesin schemes, the new programme will offer savings units worth 500 baht each, at an annual interest rate of 1.33 percent, to be paid together with the principal amount after three years.
The savings units are linked to lotteries with 20,276 prizes totalling 25 million baht to be drawn every quarter over three years.
