CHRISTINE ROMANS, CNNfn ANCHOR, STREET SWEEP: Turning to news headlines, two car bombs rock central Baghdad today, killing 21 people, wounding at least 85 others. Both explosions came near the heavily guarded green zone where many embassies and Iraqi ministry buildings are located.

In another development, Poland announced it may pull nearly half of it`s troops out of Iraq by January, and all of it`s troops out be the end of next year.

In Washington State, scientists are keeping a very close eye on Mount St. Helens, which could erupt at any moment. Heavy dark clouds of steam and ash rose from the volcano today. Geologists issued their highest alert, a level 3 over the weekend. They`re expecting a smaller explosion than the one in 1980, which killed 57 people.
