Nov. 4--Krung Thai Bank plans to ask the cabinet to increase working hours by one hour per day, says bank president Viroj Nualkhair.
He said the bank was also planning new initiatives aimed at boosting profits beyond expected loan growth following last week's interest cuts.
The bank cut its prime lending rates last week to 6.5 percent, the lowest in the banking system.
