Oct. 4--Steady domestic economic growth, healthy corporate balance sheets and a need to build new markets have encouraged more and more companies to look to invest abroad, according to Stephen Briones, country manager for ING investment bank.
"More and more, we are seeing Thai companies with an interest to expand overseas. Whether in Asia or Europe, the interest is huge," Mr Briones said.
ING is currently working on several mandates involving Thai companies investing abroad or foreign firms seeking domestic partners.
