Thai panel increases privileges for energy efficiency.
Oct. 4--The Board of Investment (BoI) has decided to increase promotional privileges for energy-related activities and incorporate two new energy categories into its promotional list in line with the government's energy saving policy.
Realising the increased severity of the energy problem, Industry Minister Phinij Jarusombat said the government deemed it essential to come up with measures that would support or raise the awareness of efficiently consuming energy.
The energy-related activities that will enjoy the increased promotional privileges include renewable energy production and machinery and equipment using renewable energy. They will qualify for ...
