Dec. 6--Bangkok's traffic snarls inspired Jay Mart, a distributor of mobile phones, to set up a home delivery service to save customers time and money. The service is reaping dividends, despite being in operation for less than one year.

The company's motorcycle drivers have been pressed into service to dispatch mobile handsets to customers who have neither the time nor the energy to fight through traffic to view product displays in shopping malls.
