Dec. 5--Thai Rung Union Car Plc, a SET-listed vehicle modification company, expects its modified Isuzu D-Max pickup model to help revive its vehicle sales, which have dropped sharply this year.
Managing director Somphong Phaoenchoke said the company had spent 300 million baht to develop moulds and tools to modify the Isuzu D-Max, which was launched five months ago.
The D-Max is the totally redesigned version of Isuzu's one-ton pickup. Because most Thai Rung customers delayed orders until modified versions of the new model were available, Thai Rung's sales fell to 4,000 units this year against the 5,000-unit target, ...
