UN Agency Sees Larger Role in Helping Thai Small Businesses.

Dec. 3--The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (Unido) will use Thailand as a platform to expand its operations through regional groupings such as Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation (Apec) and the Asia Co-operation Dialogue (ACD), director-general Carlos Alfredo Magarinas said yesterday.
Unido experts today will discuss with local economic officials and international organisations how to pursue such collaboration, Foreign Minister Surakiart Sathirathai said.
