Vice Admiral Vivien S. Crea reports to the Coast Guard Atlantic Area from her recent assignment as the commander of First Coast Guard District, where she oversaw all Coast Guard operations in the northeastern United States, from the Maine-Canada border to northern New Jersey.
As the region's senior Coast Guard commander, she led more than 10,000 active duty, reserve, civilian and auxiliary men and women, and maintained operational control over an Air Station, eleven major shore commands, 31 cutters, and 35 stations.
