Oct. 5--EFFECTIVE LEARNING IN THE WORKPLACE: Training is a crucial development tool for most organisations, especially profession-based businesses whose greatest asset or resource is the talent of their people. However, training is an expensive business and time is precious. Increasingly, there are many challenging questions from top management about this huge investment. How does training add value to the organisation? How do you measure a programme's success or failure?
