Oct. 1--The three major shareholders of the property developer Amarin Plaza Plc have paid about 2.1 billion baht to buy back all of the shares held in the company by WREP Thailand Holding Co, a US-Singapore real estate investment fund.
WREP, equally owned by Westbrook Real Estate Fund of the US and Singapore's City Condominiums Pte Ltd, sold its 538,460,880 shares in Amarin at 3.92 baht each, to City Holding Co, Sukakarn Wattanavekin and Mitr Phol Sugar Corporation Ltd.
Parties involved in the transaction said only that WREP wished to sell its entire holdings in Amarin while the three shareholders had exercised ...
